I hope I don't offend anyone by writing this, but I'm tired of trying to tell people I want to enjoy the games I'm playing. Some of my friends also have a tendency of spoiling tiny parts of games I play while I'm playing them as well, and that's sometimes frustrating.
If you're like me you'd like to enjoy a single player video game in peace. Take in all the details, and just get immersed in the story. It's a bit hard to do so when you hear *pling... pling... pling* 'cause someone is bored or wants to know what you think about the game so far. And you know what? If I think it's good, you'll know! First of all I got this blog! Second; if I like it, I'll probably ask/tell you about it when I'm done!
Sorry if I seem very harsh, but this has been going on my nerves recently. There is a reason I haven't finished games like Skyrim or Life is Strange yet... I've really enjoyed both games, but had to set myself as OFFLINE to enjoy Life Is Strange.... Do I HAVE to do things like that to be able to enjoy a game? Is it really necessary?
So I recently sat down to play No Man's Sky on my PS4. It's been great! I loved the exploration, even though it's very repetitive after a while. But I barely have anyone on my PSN friends list, so no one has bothered me while I played it. It's honestly been a relief... Maybe that enhanced my experience with the game? I don't know, but it might be. Maybe that's why I prefer consoles more, messaging isn't as easy there as on Steam.
Don't get me wrong on this though, 'cause I have nothing against people talking to me when I play multiplayer games. That's the time I'm usually the most lonely, believe it or not! Unless you know I'm in the middle of a battle or something like that of course. ;p
But yeah, when I'm playing multiplayer games I notice I get less messages. That's kinda weird.
Anyways, sorry about this rant, and like I said in the beginning; I'm sorry if I stepped on someones toes, but if you feel hurt by this, then you already know what you did was ruining my game experiences...
Until next time~!
