Battlefield 3

I feel this itch to write about something these days. :S
So here comes

I finished the storyline yesterday (I had like just 2 maps left or something, but I've just been too lazy to finish it to now). The story was nice, but I think I actually liked the Bad Company 2 story better. But that might be because of the humor and the different gameplays in the story. In Battlefield 3 there was alot of the same. Just pushing buttons on the right timing. So that just became a little boring. But then again the graphics etc are just amazing :D
I didn't like the game to begin with, I had a hard time ranking up to rank 30. Might be because I was so fixated on my K/D all the time :p But anyways, after rank 30 things became a little more fun, and I've become more used to the game.

Then the patch came...
And all I gotta say is: F*ck suppression! Geez, I don't like it! But that made me become quicker so I'm always the one shooting first :p But I still don't like the suppression. The supportclass is a little bit more useful now, but maybe they could have added a little bit less suppression..? And what happend to the foregrip? :O It doen't really help you anymore. Just makes it worse...
And here comes the funniest part about that patch; the AAmissiles didn't work! You could shoot them and all, but they didn't do any damage. But fortunately that problem is now fixed thanks to a update they came with not long ago :)

After the patch came, I've been running around on knife only servers. And that is actually alot of fun :D All these screams and herpaderp deaths xD It also helps my K/D alot! :D Me gusta <3 But I'm mostly playing there because it's fun. xD

When it comes to playing on normal servers, I've been more into the map Grand Bazar latly. And I always run around B, 'cause everyone wants that base :p I also play some on Operation Metro and Operation Firestorm. Guess these 3 are my favorite maps :) Which map is YOUR favorite? :)

Now, let's see what I can say about this game :)

- Amazing graphics, even in multiplayer. I love the graphics in this game. Everything looks more real than in many other games. Lately I've been playing games like Skyrim and Deus EX: Human Revolution. But I think this game beats both those games in graphics, in my opinion. Yes, Skyrim have amazing graphics as well, but it doesn't have a multiplayer for 64 players..? ;) So, to have a storyline, co-op missions, AND a huge multiplayer to cover, they really did a good job with the graphics :)

- Great story. The story is pretty interesting. The way they made it. You first go from present time. Then you go from the beginning of it all, and work your way to present and future time (if you understand what I mean with my bad english) x) SPOILER ALERT! So you start of on a train, trying to fight your way to a badguy and get caught. Then you find yourself talking to some investigators. And you go through all the events the character you play as have been through. You also see some from another persons perspective too, which might be a little confusing. But this makes the story more interesting, I think :)

- Fun with Co-op! The co-op is really fun. And I gotta say the stealthing is the ones I really LOVE in this game! Had some great fun with one of my friends, Supbatrate. We tried multiple times to make one of those missions perfect, NOT being noticed etc. And suddenly we do too much friendly fire or start pronehumping the ground like some retards xD Good memories from those missions, and more to come, I think. x)

- The patch kinda ruined the game. There where just too many things that were fixed, that really didn't need to be fixed. A shame, really :/ I know that alot of people stoped playing Battlefield 3 after that patch came. And that's kinda sad... I have some friends complaining about it all the time, and some of them doesn't play much anymore either. So I beg you DICE; Please! Fix this suppression!

Other than this I think Battlefield 3 is a great game, and I really enjoy playing it. :D Much here is like my first BF game (Bad Comapny 2) and I really like that :D

But I guess this is all there is to say about Battlefield 3.

Until next time~!

Project Assassin

So, finally a new post, which is actually not transported from my norwegian blog! I think I'll focus more on this blog here, because then I can reach out to more people, etc. But anyways!

Project Assassin is a project I'm working on now. I'm sewing a whole costume by hand ('cause I don't own a sewingmachine). And it's going to be a fanmade, female assassin costume. I've taken inspiration from the Altair armor you recive in the end off Assassin's Creed 2 :)

Here's a bad scetch of it:

I'm going to wear this on a convention this summer (sometime in the end of June). And I'm going with 3-4 other people who's also going to cosplay assassins :D We're making our own hiddenblades and everything^^ (one of us is making one made of Lego) xD

We're also planning on do stuff for entertaining, but I won't tell you what that is until after the convention ;D Gotta have some secrets, ya know <3

Well, I've been working on this project for 4 days now, and the result even shocks me!
Here's a pic of it:

What do you think?

All I gotta say is; I can't wait to it's done! :D <3

But I need to go now, going to the woods to have some fun^^
Until next time~! <3

Battlefield: Bad Company 2

Ok... So this is a old post from my norwegian blog. Hope you like it anyways :)
Yeah, I bet you've been waiting for this one. :)

Today I'll write about a game I've played a lot this summer: Battlefield: Bad Company 2 My first "war FPSgame", as I call it. The first game I've played (except a little bit of CoD and CS 1.6), where I shoot at someone who can shoot the same mass back, if not more.

At first I was very skeptical about this game, since the times I've played CoD I died all the time. And I've been a very bad loser in my entire life. Fortunately, I've gotten better by the age. But anywayz... As I told  I was very skeptical about this game, but after nearly a year of nagging from Patrik, I finally bought it in May last year. And I have no regrets! In the beginning I sucked, of course, but who doesn't ..? I'm still not a pro, so am happy every time I end up with more kills than the Deaths at the end of a round ... x) (uhm, yes this is writen last fall, and I've gotten much better since then...)

I didn't play singleplayer first, I just jumped right into multiplayer! So called I was called a noob now and then in the beginning. But I have not actually been called a noobtuber! Something I am actually proud of, since it often happens with people and is very negative.

And then there was some info for those who do not know what Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is or means. Battlefield is a Swedish game series, which is taking place in a war. It's a different story in each game, but I've only played Bad Company 2, and don't know much about the other games. But in Bad Company 2 we have 4 classes/kits. Assault, which can give out ammo, medic, who can give out a medkit and ress people (if you have unlock the defib), Engineer, who can use the RPG, and Recon, which can use snipers. Each class have their own groups of weapons. That Assault are the ones who for example may have M416, while the Medic is the only one who can have the M60, etc. But there are also weapons that all classes can use, but it's mostly shotguns. The story of Bad Company 2 is about a squad that is sent on a mission after mission to finally stop the Russians from using a super-weapon against the United States. In order to get to the russians they need to f.eks. do car chases, sniping during a thunderstorm, blow up tanks and helicopters, and much more. And they have to go through deserts, jungles formulas and snowy areas. Personally I thought the car chase was fun :)

My opinions about the game:
- Fun gameplay. Now I talk mostly about multiplayer. You run for example around there, "minding your own buisness" and then suddenly you will be blown to hell, or a buddy spawns as a surprise to you so that you start shooting in all directions (at least that's how I got it). x) A lot of fun to play with friends :)

- Challenges. It is something I both like and dislike in this game here. The part I hate is when people cheat, that is, for example using "wall hack" and "Aimbot" (programs that basically do things for you, or so you can see through walls). These are the negative aspect of having on the opposing team, and you clearly feel that they cheat. Why must they ruin a game that can be fun for others? What's the point? Fair enough that they might have ranked up to max and possibly should have all the weapons on the platinum-star, but still. It's not fun for those who might be noobs. Would have been better if it had been set up a separate server for those who want to cheat, than let the rest of us to go through arduous struggles that are almost impossible to win. But now it was a little mass complaining. The challenges I like about this game when I play for example on the opposite team of Patrik (or other good friends). Then I try to kill them most of the time :p Which is actually a challenge, since most people have played a few hundred hours more than me, and rank 50 :P

- Good graphics. It looks realistic, but to a certain extent. Looks a bit unnatural when a person dies, and just suddenly dropped. xD But the graphics are good, and that is good, since I am a bit picky when it comes to graphics and image quality. A little hard to see through the dust clouds of snow or sand, but it also makes the game a little more exciting.

- Great unlocking system. Now I have to say I haven't played very much CoD, but that additional weapons and stuff (like the helicopter to help you) will unlock for you when you have that long killstreaks etc. I think that it's cowardly and unfair. This might not have a lot to do about the unlocking in Battlefield, but I mean, in Battlefield one can use the tanks, helicopters, UAVs, etc. as much as you want and when you want (except for those times when someone else has taken them before you). Each class has their own the weapons and equipment that need to Unlock. And to unlock the stuff in the different classes, you have to play as them! And to unlock the weapons all the classes you need to rank up. I unlocked everything around rank 25, I think. And max rank is 50.

- Varied environments. Who wants to play on 20 courses that that all look the same? No, that's just boring. But in Bad Company 2, you have snow, desert, and jungle enviroment. Different sizes of the maps too. The largest map is called "Heavy Metal" and is boring to play. The map is WAY too big for conquest. You MUST use vehicles to get back and forth between the bases fast enough to take them. However, "Arica Harbor" is much better. But perhaps a little bit small for 32 players. But crowded is exciting in my opinion :p But now I fell a little out of the environment ... ^^'

Could write more, but think I should end it here... x) Hope you enjoyed it ;)
