Pokémon (a bit general about my relationship to Pokemon)

Long time, no write! Have been a little busy with work and stuff, but anyways ..!
YES! I like Pokemon! And I am no longer afraid to say it out loud! I remember when I went to primary School, the horrible time with bullying, etc., just because I liked Pokemon. And so we come to the high school. Then it was suddenly popular again. What the hell happened? Oh well.
I love Pokemon, mostly because of the games, and I'm proud of it ^

I have collected Pokemon cards, figurines and played games since I was in 2./3. grade, and I still think the games are fun, even if the characters are getting a little "uninventive" in appearance, etc. Seen the series too, but not all. Most just the first season. But as I got older and started junior high school, I refused to keep the Pokémon by my parents. Cards and figures were hidden away and my Game Boy was taken from me. I assume this was to avoid that I was bullied more than I already had been, simply for protection, and not to be evil. But then I moved and started in high school, and had the opportunity to re-occupy a beloved hobby and have fun again.

Pokémon was also my inspiration for drawing, or better said, the reason I started to draw! My first comic book I started to draw in the 5th grade. It was about Sarah that wanted to become a Pokemon master. In my booklets I drew first two pages of comics, 3 x 2 squares, and then two pages of exercises and games. I was doing this comic until I Pokémon was taken away from me. Later I found out about manga/anime, series like Naruto, I began to draw other types of drawings.

Can say that Pokemon also helped to make me a gamer chick. I never went anywhere without my Game Boy with Pokemon. Loved those games. Yellow and red :) After I moved to my father, I began to play more of the Pokémon games, and extended my horizons, and found other types of games. After a while I got more into shooters (thanks to Left 4 Dead), which is my main focus in gaming now. But sometimes I still sit down with my Game Boy with Pokemon Yellow to play a little^^

Finally I can say that Pokemon is part of my inspiration for a dream I have, to become a game designer! Remember the time when I was having fun and hacked pokemon roms. Tried to create an altered version of Ruby which I called "Shiny Ruby". x) Didn't come any further than the third city before I gave up on this project. And after I installed Windows 7 I couldn't use the program anymore. In addition to this little project, I was trying to translate Pokemon FireRed from English into Norwegian! This was a very fun project. Was not long ago I was going to take up the project again, but found that the program didn't work in Windows 7, need some file etc...

I will never put Pokemon away again, even if I grow up. It will always have a room in my heart:) So much inspiration and enjoyment only the games and the series has given me. Yeah!

But that's all for now!
Will try to write more often ^^ '

Portal 2

Hey again. After around 10 hours of gameplay, I finally rounded Portal 2 as well, which I got from Patrick, my boy:) <3

Rounded co-op with him, which was VERY fun xD I livestream'a everything, so it is stored on my livestream (http://www.livestream.com/korishiva just browse through the saved recordings). Patrik took a snapshot of me with a custom skin on:)

                                                       HEARTs ON IT! : D <3

This is a game that exceeded my expectations, since the first game was short and had a short story. In singleplayer you play as the same person as in the first game, only some time later, to put it like that x) Trying to spoil at little as possible, although this was one ... :P

Funniest thing about the game here I think has to be when I and Patrik kinda had a race on who came first through the singleplayer, and the fact that we rounded the game in about the same time :D But Co-op was fun too. Collaboratively solve everything! :)

Didn't have much to say... So let's just skip to the summary, Shall we ..? x)

- Longer than the first game. 3 hours  to 10 hours says more than his? x) Yeah, this game was longer and had more content than the first game, which I liked very much. I think it's fun when the game lasts for a while. Games you never get finnished with, like the Pokemon games, Left 4 Dead, etc. are my favorites.

- More challenges. There were some more things you had to go through in this game than the last. As an example a kind of jumping mud, speed mud and gravitationbeam :) Plus it together and get the right solution:) Was great fun in co-op.

- Co-op! This feature was brilliant! To actually be able to play along with another player was incredibly fun. You can play with friends or a random from the internet. Simply ingenious in my opinion:)

But this was everything I could write without spoiling too much ;)

Your friend might become a bitch ... And the bitch might become your friend..!
                                                                                                           Wait! What?

So it's all for today:)

See ya next time! =D
